Thabo Lephoto

Lecturer

Thabo Lephoto is a Developmental Lecturer and an Applied Statistics Doctoral student. He has interests in environmental, biological and microbiological data that can help policy makers during interventions. Thabo has interacted with practitioners in education, microbiology, biology of ticks and agricultural sciences. Throughout the years of study, Thabo acquired skills in Statistical Computing through interactions and attending conferences and workshops. He has therefore strengthened his statistical computing using real datasets. 
 
Thabo has tutored and demonstrated statistics modules since he was a postgraduate in 2014. He has demonstrated for Statistics modules at 1st and 2nd year level until he was appointed as a Developmental Lecturer in 2018. He is supervising at Honours level, and has successfully supervised Honours theses.   
 
Since 2018 Thabo has been teaching at undergraduate level and is aslo assisting at Honours level with data manipulations.  
 
Thabo is keen and passionate about teaching statistics. He is teaching undergraduate students from different disciplines across schools in the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
