Dr Megan Jane Morgan has six research publications, supervised 5 honours projects, 4 Masters theses and refereed 10 research articles. She has also attended 10 mathematics conferences, including South African Mathematics Conferences, British Combinatorial Conference – presenting contributed talks.
Lectured 30 different modules in pure and applied mathematics, statistics and computer science from 1982 to date. Dean’s Assistant, Faculty of Science: 2009 – 2010.
Graph Theory, Distance-based graph theoretical parameters, such as the Eccentric Connectivity Index, and other topological indices and their applications in pharmaceutical research. Bounds on spanning trees; bounds on the diameter of graphs in terms of order and size. Metric dimension of various graph classes, in terms of order and diameter.
